Shielding Against EMC Effects – Connecting Industry Electronics

ElectroMagnetic Pulse (EMP) and ElectroMagnetic Interference (EMI) filters located on mobile tactical shelters, protect the incoming mains supply of C4ISTAR equipment systems; such as computer systems, telecommunications and radar, power supplies and portable electronic devices – from the danger of high-energy EM pulses.

MPE designs and tests tailormade HEMP filters to meet the pulse current injection requirements of MIL-STD 188-125-1 E1 and E2 pulses. The filters are designed for pulse performance rather than insertion loss.

This approach has the potential to offer competitive results with more traditional solutions.

The company has had its designs tested and proven using specified MIL-STD 188-125 pulse current injection tests.

Demonstrating this range of devices, the company will be on hand to discuss it?s full catalogue range of HEMP protection filters from 6A to 400A, all meeting the requirements of MIL-STD 188-125 by a substantial margin.

Before leaving the MPE factory, every HEMP filter is tested to a high proof voltage for long-term safety and reliability.

To keep up with industry demand, additional higher current and performance ranges of the filters are now under planning and development.
