MPE Employees Pick Up Prizes
Two MPE employees picked up prizes after taking part in a staff travel survey from Knowley Chamber of Commerce. Dave Glazebrook won high street vouchers, while Rob Hewitt won a bag of cycling equipment. Dave and Rob were presented with their prizes by Lesley Martin-Wright, Chief Executive of Knowsley Chamber of Commerce. Results from the travel survey will be used to prepare a Travel Plans for local business such as MPE – a document setting out measures which companies may use to support and encourage its employees to make more sustainable travel choices, such as walking, cycling, public transport and car-sharing. The Activ£ Travel initiative is funded by the Department for Transport.
