As evidence of MPE’s commitment to continuous research and development, ongoing work has been devoted to the continued rise of ElectroMagnetic Pulse (EMP) applications and one result of the research has been two patent families covering the UK, Europe and the USA.
In direct response to requests from industry, during the recent Amerem conference which took place in New Mexico, USA, Will Turner of MPE presented a paper on the design of high current HEMP filters for reliability.

The current range of MPE HEMP filters was expanded further with the introduction of 1200A variants.
