MPE has supplied a custom filter solution to the WISENT 2 is one of the world’s most advanced multi-functional armoured support vehicles (ASVs).

The new Ajax simulator shelters from Lockheed Martin incorporate custom filters from MPE. The simulators facilitate the training of turret crews on the British Army’s Ajax, the new multi-role family of medium armoured fighting vehicles (AFVs).

Following a very rigorous and extensive design proving exercise, MPE were awarded the contract to supply a quantity of its unique 1200A HEMP filters, for installation within a critical defence application in Virginia, USA.

Following a detailed design process, MPE provided a custom filter for the Ocelot vehicle ensuring the wiper motors were compliant with DEF STAN 59-411 Land Class A and also met the extremes of conditions that the vehicle would face in theatres of operation.

MPE recently supplied a suite of filters for a large anechoic test chamber installation, for automotive NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) testing.

To help deal with the problem of space debris, MPE has supplied a suite of custom high-current EMC protection filters for applications in the US Air Force’s new Space Fence program.
